The News-Gazette reported last Thursday that Matt Milroy signed a deal with the Miami Marlins. That’s great news!
Milroy who was drafted in the 11th round, reportedly received a $100,000 signing bonus in the deal. He’ll start playing for the Jamestown Jammers in the Class A New York-Penn League.
Fish Stripes, a Marlins fan blog, has already included Milroy in their write-up on Four Marlins Draftees That Could Reach the Majors Quickly.
