The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus is quiet now as most students have gone home and all but most essential staff are on holiday break, myself included.
It’s a different feeling but a definite respite from the hustle and bustle of the normal day-to-day routine.
I wanted to take this quiet time to wish all players, fans and everybody part of the Illinois baseball community a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
