Illinois baseball has cracked the top ten!
After another successful week on the diamond, Illinois has gone up in the polls, reaching as high as #8 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and #9 in the D1Baseball and Baseball America polls.
The Illini went 4-0 in the past week. That included a 2-0 sweep against Indiana who flirted with the national polls themselves earlier this season. Off to their best start in school history with a 32-6-1 record, Illinois finds themselves alone at the top of the Big Ten standings.
