The 2024 Illinois baseball schedule has been announced!

Illinois baseball has announced the schedule for the 2024 season. Take a look.

It’s a RPI-inducing doozy too. With opponents such as Wake Forest, Tennessee, and Coastal Carolina, our squad will have plenty of chances to prove themselves worthy.

Scott Beatty seems to agree.

I count 17 of 51 games against teams that made the NCAA tournament last year, including four with World Series squads (Wake, Tenn), and two with a Supers team (Indiana State).

Important dates

A few dates to keep in mind.

• Opening day: February 16 vs. Akron @ Winston-Salem
• Home opener: March 15 vs. Southern Indiana
• Big Ten opener: March 22 vs. Indiana @ Bloomington

Illinois will have a tough Big Ten schedule facing the top three teams in the conference last year, Maryland, Indiana and Iowa.
