Three! 3! III! No matter how you say it, it looks great!
Illinois baseball has been ranked #3 by Collegiate Baseball. That’s a jump from a #8 ranking from CB from last week. It goes without saying it’s the highest ranking Illinois baseball has received in school history (though that’s been true for a few weeks now).
Collegiate Baseball isn’t the only one recognizing the Illini after their 4-0 week and their sweep of #23 Ohio State. All major polls moved Illinois up in the ranking including Perfect Game who ranked them #4.
