This Friday, it will be three weeks left until Illini Baseball begins their season. That’s when they start off with a three-game weekend against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
The Illini Baseball program is kicking the season off by releasing their official poster for the 2013 season. Perhaps underscoring the youth on this team, this season’s poster is adorned by the seniors. Of course, the poster comes complete with the current schedule.

Speaking of this year’s schedule, I just took the time to import the Illini Baseball season scheduled game days into my calendar. Fightingillini.com has downloadable calendars and instructions for anyone who wishes to do so. The downloadable calendars are compatible with Outlook, iOS devices and iCal-compatible calendars. It’s simple to do and makes it easy to share the dates with my wife so she knows I won’t be home for dinner :)
It should be noted that if the last few years are any indication, the schedule is tentative at best. Aside from the obvious weather factor, games do get added at the last minute. Occasionally checking in with the Illinois Baseball web site during the season is a good idea.
