Josh Ferry |
Will Krug |
One week after Brandon Hohl and Justin Parr received similar honors, we hear that two more Illini were named to their respective summer league’s All-Star team. This time it was Will Krug and Josh Ferry. Both are current sophomores and both were named to the Chicago Suburban Baseball League’s All-College team.
It should be no surprise that Will Krug was named. Playing for the Crystal Lake Cardinals, he batted a crisp .375 for the summer of ‘12. Not only that, he stole an amazing 55 bases, tops on the team.
Pitching for the Lombard Orioles, Josh Ferry had a great summer… which is good if he carry that success over Illinois. Ferry went 3-0 with two saves with a miniscule 2.25 ERA in 24 innings.
Congratulations to both Will and Josh!
