Thomas Lindauer gets a handle on the ball before tossing it to first base during fielding practice
The Illini baseball team got out to Illinois Field today for Day 2 of Fall Practice. After work, I got out to the park and snapped a few shots.
There were lots of familiar faces (some with new looks) and a few new ones which admittedly, I will need to learn. Today’s regimen included infielders’ throws to first, pitchers’ move to first and baserunning.
Infielder Michael Hurwitz at the ready
All things considered being that it was the second day out to the park, things seemed to be running pretty smooth…
…and hot! The scoreboard showed 78 degrees but the players were working hard and the unis didn’t hide how sweaty they were.

Time for a shower, Coach Snider.
You can see all the photos I took today at my Illinois Baseball photo gallery. They’re in the 2012-13 gallery. Here’s the link to see the full Illini baseball photo gallery (I’m up to over 8600 photos going back to 2005!).
