Yippie! The Illinois Baseball Media Guide is out.
I always enjoy perusing the guide each year. Each year’s guide which is issued by the Illinois Athletic Public Relations Office, is jam-packed full of info. This year’s guide is 148 pages. Not only does it give me a good overview of the team but more importantly, it has information you probably can’t find anywhere else. Things like contact information for the program, biographies on the players, the history of the baseball team and statistical records of the team. I love that kind of stuff.
Who were the lucky players to get their photos on front page of the media guide?? None other than Mike Giller, Aaron Johnson and Craig Lutes.
So I just want to say “good job” to Ben Taylor who is the Sports Information Director for the program and editor of the media guide. It’s well done and I’m looking forward to delving into it in more depth.
