Former Illini SS Shawn Roof put the brotherly rivalry aside to show some love to his brother Eric Roof who was drafted by Detroit in the 18th round. His comments on his brother’s good fortune are on the Erie Seawolves’ Notebook. The Seawolves are the Double A team for the Detroit Tiger organization.
The Roof brother played against each other frequently as Eric played for Michigan State.
