Ben Reeser tossing over to first during the first game against Indiana on Saturday
After a 1-2 weekend against the Hoosiers, the Illini will host the Bradley Braves at Illinois Field. By Tuesday game time, it looks to a bit chilly but nothing like the MSU Sunday. My source says 43 degrees and partly sunny.
Game #26 |
Record: 18-7 (4-2 Big Ten) |
|
vs Bradley University Braves | at Illinois Field, Champaign, Il | |
April 7 | 6:05 pm CT | Two Dollar Tuesday |
The Bradley Braves are dwelling in the basement of the Missouri Valley Conference, last in hitting and last in ERA. That said, they do have some momentum coming off a 3-game winning streak. Those three wins came off the tail end of a 4 game series against North Dakota.
Illinois has big bad Michigan coming up this weekend so a little confidence-builder would be nice.
