Illinois-Michigan game

i.gif I took my son to the Illinois-Michigan game on Sunday. What a beautiful day it was for a baseball game! Dusty Bensko’s three-run homer in the first gave Illinois the lead but Michigan scored 4 in the second due to a few misplays in the field. An rbi single by Chad “Pat, I’d like to buy a vowel” Frk tied the game 5-5 in the fifth but Michigan put themselves up for good in the sixth on a sac fly. An ironic note: Michigan had big names like Mike Schmidt and Jeff Kunkel playing on their team. Anybody remember MLB hot prospect Jeff Kunkel from the 80s? Illinois is now 20-10-1 and 9-3 in the Big Ten. They are currently tied for first in the Big Ten with Minnesota.
